Day 2-4

Tokyo Japan

Let's get this out of the way: you will get lost in Shinjuku Station, no matter how much advice I give you. But that's part of the experience! Over the next three days, you'll have plenty of time to see the major sights and enjoy lots of eating and drinking.

We usually like to break the city into sections to help you focus on your self-exploration. For example, Shibuya, Harajuku, and Meiji Shrine are all in the same district and can easily fill a full day of discovering. If your hotel is conveniently located, you can head back to relax for a few hours and then venture out to soak in the stunning city lights at night while izakaya hopping around your hotel, all within walking distance.

Although you're not going to Kyoto this time, you can still spend half a day exploring Asakusa Temple and the surrounding area, which retains some of that charming old Japan feel. Shinjuku at night is a must-do adventure with its bustling energy. Don't miss the department store shopping and, of course, the fabulous food courts!

For those looking for unique experiences, you can check out the TeamLab interactive art exhibits, browse the fresh offerings at the fish markets, take in a baseball game, or dive into the nightlife at clubs from 11 PM to 5 AM. The options are truly limitless, making your time in Tokyo unforgettable!

Day 5-6
Tokyo DisneyLand / Disneysea

Day 7

Depart

The Happiest Place on Earth offers a few ways to enjoy the magic, especially after adjusting to the time in Japan and surviving the hustle of Tokyo. Many visitors find that wrapping up their trip with a visit to the parks is a delightful way to experience Japan's hospitality. In Tokyo Disneyland, smiles are abundant, and while the park may be smaller than its California counterpart, it still packs a punch with amazing experiences. One charming aspect is how local visitors will sit down during parades so that everyone can enjoy the view.

For those without children or time constraints, skip Disneyland and head to DisneySea instead—it's a unique adventure! There’s so much to share about the parks, but let's keep it simple for now.

If you're looking to stay in the city center, several hotels offer shuttle buses to the parks for day trips. For families with young children, staying at one of the Disney hotels is the ultimate way to go, though booking early is essential. Alternatively, consider accommodations on the Disney monorail line, which can whisk you to the park gates in just 5–10 minutes. Enjoy the magic! (Disneyland is extremely busy and Holidays and weekends are to be avoided at all cost)

Well, that was a wonderfully quick visit, and you’re probably feeling a sense of amazement but also thinking that we definitely need to return for a more extended stay. Most flights tend to leave at night, so this gives you the opportunity to have a fun-filled day after a relaxing late wake-up before heading back to the airport. I highly recommend spending some time shopping and savoring a delightful lunch at Tokyo Station before making your way to the airport. Alternatively, you could choose to stay in the enchanting Disney area with a late checkout, allowing for a seamless transition directly to the airport. This option may depend on whether you’re flying from Narita, which tends to take longer, or Haneda, which is conveniently closer to the vibrant heart of the city.

there’s no better feeling than coming home after a long journey; and there’s no better feeling than leaving home to start another one.
